1. About These Terms

This website is operated by techSafe. By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version will always be posted on this page.

2. Our Products

We sell portable security devices intended for personal, non-commercial use, such as travel door locks, door jammers, entry alarms and personal alarms. Product images are for illustration; minor variations in colour or finish can occur between batches.

3. Important Safety Notice

Our products are deterrents designed to add layers of security and warning time. No security device can guarantee the prevention of unauthorised entry, theft, injury or loss, and our products are not a substitute for common sense, safe behaviour, appropriate insurance or contacting emergency services. Always comply with local laws, fire regulations and building rules when using any device that restricts a door or exit, and never block an emergency escape route.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Payment is processed securely at checkout by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card details. We do our best to keep pricing accurate, but if a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full before dispatch.

5. Orders

When you place an order, you'll receive a confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example where we suspect fraud, where stock is unavailable, or where a pricing error has occurred. If we cancel your order, you'll be refunded in full.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are processed within 24 hours on business days and typically arrive within 5 to 12 business days with tracking. Delivery estimates are made in good faith but aren't guaranteed, as carriers and customs can cause delays outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If your order hasn't arrived within a reasonable time of the estimate, contact us and we'll chase it or make it right.

7. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds, including our 60-night guarantee, are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate order and delivery information, to use our products only for lawful purposes, and not to misuse this website, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it other than through the normal interface.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including text, images, branding and page design, belongs to techSafe or its licensors and may not be copied or reused for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, techSafe is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our site may contain links to third-party websites or tools. We're not responsible for their content or practices, and using them is at your own discretion.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of the state or territory in which we operate.
